Job Title: Export Documentation SpecialistEmployment Status: Full-time and Temp-to-hire. During the probationary period, you will work as a temporary/contract employee. If there are no issues with your attendance or performance, you will become a regular/W-2 employee of the client company.Position SummaryA global logistics and supply chain company is seeking an Export Documentation Specialist to support ocean export operations and customer service activities. This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, preparing export documentation, communicating with carriers and customers, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of freight.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate export shipments with shippers, carriers, truckers, and overseas partners.Prepare and review export documents including bills of lading, export declarations, and shipping invoices.Track and trace shipments from pickup through final delivery.Communicate with customers and service providers regarding shipment status and routing.Resolve shipment, billing, and documentation discrepancies.Maintain customer records, SOPs, and shipment data accuracy.Support rate quotations and daily operational activities.Ensure compliance with company procedures and government regulations.Qualifications2+ years of experience in freight forwarding or export logistics; air freight experience preferred.Knowledge of international shipping procedures and export documentation.Familiarity with U.S. export regulations and hazardous materials requirements is a plus.Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics systems.College degree or equivalent experience preferred.What's OfferedCompetitive compensation and benefits packageCareer growth opportunities within a global logistics environmentTraining and professional development programsStable and collaborative workplace culture
