Join Our Caring CommunityThe Senior Product Owner is responsible for conveying product vision and roadmap to an Agile delivery team by defining user stories and prioritizing product backlog. This role will report to the Lead Product Manager.The Senior Product Owner maximizes value of product created by Agile team. Liaises with stakeholders and the development team ensuring the right product is being built, in the right order, within budget and by the deadline. Serves as the Agile team's primary contact for information, work prioritization, and decision-making. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.ResponsibilitiesCommunicate the product vision and goals aligned with business strategy.Own and manage the product (team) backlog, ensuring it is prioritized based on business value.Collaborate with stakeholders (business, IT, UX, operations) to gather and refine requirements.Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams aligned at team layer.Make scope and priority decisions to maximize value delivery within constraints.Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.Monitor and report on progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.Drive continuous improvement in product development processes.Align product features with regulatory, security, and compliance requirements.Track and analyze product performance metrics to inform future decisions.Support release planning and go-to-market activities in collaboration with Product Management.Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate changes effectively.Requirements610+ years total experience across:Product management, engineering, or architectureAt least 2+ years hands-on full-stack development experienceAt least 2+ years working within Agile delivery across multiple scrum teamsAt least 2+ years working on platform or shared capability initiatives (vs. single product features)Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries preferredTechnical & Platform ExpertiseExpected Experience: 35+ years cumulative24+ years working with: API-first or headless architectures (REST, GraphQL preferred)Cloud platforms (e.g. Azure)Experience contributing to or partnering with architecture teams on system design24+ years hands-on experience with:Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)Adobe Experience ManagerExperience delivering at least 12 implementations or major enhancements using AEP/AEMFamiliarity with:Real-Time CDP (RTCDP)Personalization and targeting use casesExperience integrating Adobe tools with enterprise data sources or APIsPlatform Enablement & ReusabilityExpected Experience: 35+ years35+ years working on platform-based or shared services productsExperience supporting multiple teams or products simultaneously (at least 23 scrum teams)Demonstrated success driving reusable components, APIs, or servicesExposure to enterprise-scale environments with multiple brands or business unitsDesign System & Front-End StrategyExpected Experience: 24+ years24+ years contributing to or owning design systems or shared UI component librariesExperience working with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React) across multiple applicationsParticipation in governance or adoption efforts (not just building components)Experience supporting accessibility (WCAG) and multi-brand consistencyTechnical Product OwnershipExpected Experience: 46+ years46+ years in product ownership, technical product management, or equivalent roleExperience working across multiple scrum teams (minimum 2+, ideally 35 teams)Proven ability to:Write detailed, technically accurate user storiesManage and prioritize a complex backlog with dependenciesExperience balancing short-term delivery vs. long-term platform investmentsTravel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40Pay Range: $94,900 - $130,500 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
