This is an entry-level opportunity to build a career in fundraising, nonprofit administration, and events—while having fun along the way.What You’ll DoAs a key member of our energetic and progressive Development team, this position will work closely with the Events and Advancement Director of the Foundation and play an essential role in supporting fundraising efforts across the Hudson Valley and NYC.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeSupporting a capital campaign, including special events, donor relations, fund development, and project coordinationServing as the primary point person for maintaining donor and prospect records in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systemCreating donor lists, running gift queries, preparing reports, and executing spreadsheets and mail mergesResponding promptly and professionally to donor phone calls and email inquiriesPreparing donor correspondence and filing donation-related paperwork in electronic systemsScheduling meetings, meal functions, and other logistics as assignedMaintaining the highest level of confidentiality regarding donor information and reportsAssisting at special events—including occasional evenings and weekends—and helping oversee volunteers and event logisticsWith direction, acting as a spokesperson for organizational services and promotionsCommitting to all workplace, food, and safety policies and reporting any safety concerns immediatelyPitching in on other projects as assigned—no two days are exactly the same!What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking someone who is detail-oriented, flexible, and excited to grow within the nonprofit fundraising field.Qualifications IncludeBachelor’s degree preferred (experience may substitute, including higher-education-based activities)At least two years of administrative experience, preferably in a Development or Fundraising officeExperience managing projects or events is a plusFamiliarity with fundraising and project management databases such as Monday.com; Raiser’s Edge, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems preferredStrong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsComfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a teamWhy You’ll Love Working HereBe part of a mission-driven organization that strengthens communities and supports meaningful causesGain hands-on experience in fundraising, donor engagement, and special eventsWork with a supportive team that values creativity, initiative, and collaborationEnjoy variety, purpose, and opportunities for professional growthIf you are organized, motivated, and ready to make an impact while building valuable fundraising experience, we would love to hear from you!An Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and Veterans
