Manufacturing Database Administrator
PGS Worldwide is seeking a Manufacturing Database Administrator in Owego, NY for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.The Manufacturing Database Administrator will maintain Manufacturing Bills of Material and Material Master attributes in PTC Windchill. This role supports manufacturing engineering teams by keeping part data accurate, resolving cross-site data issues, improving database automation, generating metrics, and serving as a subject matter expert for manufacturing part attribute data.Required SkillsAnalytical skills with database experience.Technical background.Manufacturing or military specification experience.PLM software experience, with PTC products preferred.Ability to maintain and update Manufacturing Bills of Material.Ability to maintain Material Master attributes in PLM software.Ability to work in PLM systems and resolve cross-site data errors.Ability to solve technical problems with minimal direction, including system errors and data mismatches.Strong communication skills.Ability to work with Manufacturing Engineers, Master Data Analysts, and Component Engineers.Ability to collect, organize, maintain, and improve structured manufacturing data.Ability to support data stewardship, metric generation, database administration, and team training.Ability to complete required compliance training, including CUI handling, DPAS, counterfeit parts prevention, and OPSEC awareness.No security clearance required.Preferred SkillsSTEM degree.PTC Windchill experience.MPMLink experience.Experience with manufacturer technical datasheets.Experience collecting, compiling, and maintaining data in a structured database tool.Proximity to Lockheed Martin Owego, NY.Experience with Manufacturing BOMs, Material Master data, PLM administration, manufacturing planning, database automation, data quality improvement, and cross-functional engineering support.What You'll DoMaintain and update Manufacturing Bills of Material.Maintain Material Master attributes in PTC Windchill.Improve the quality of manufacturing part attribute data.Support Manufacturing Engineers by maintaining accurate part data.Work inside PLM systems to resolve data issues.Identify and correct cross-site data errors.Provide feedback to strengthen database automation.Increase alignment across teams and sites.Train new engineers on relevant data tools and processes.Generate metrics related to manufacturing data quality and process performance.Serve as a data steward and subject matter expert for manufacturing database information.Support work related to the 1LMX transition.Work Schedule / ShiftHybrid role based in Owego, NY.Telework 50% or more.4/10 1st shift schedule.Pay$25.00/hourJob ID: 21644Military veterans and transitioning military members are encouraged to apply to all PGS Worldwide positions.
