Java Technical LeadLocation: Jersey City, NJ | Hybrid Engagement: Contract About the RoleWe're hiring two experienced Java Technical Leads to design and deliver large-scale integration solutions for a financial services client. You'll bring 8+ years of hands-on development experience, plus the leadership chops to guide engineering teams through complex enterprise integration work.This is a build-and-lead role. You'll be writing production code, making architectural calls, and mentoring developers through delivery, all within a real-time, event-driven environment.What You'll DoDesign and implement enterprise integration solutions across distributed systemsLead technical direction for a team of Java engineers, balancing hands-on development with architectural ownershipBuild and optimize event-driven services using Kafka, Apache Camel, and Spring BootPartner with business and product stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, reliable systemsDrive code quality, design reviews, and engineering best practices across the teamTroubleshoot production issues and own end-to-end delivery from design through deploymentWhat We're Looking For8+ years of hands-on Java development experienceDeep expertise in Spring Boot and Apache CamelStrong experience with integration middleware and event-driven architectures, especially KafkaProven technical leadership experience in a hands-on capacity (not pure management)Track record designing and shipping enterprise integration solutionsStrong communicator who can move fluidly between code-level discussions and stakeholder conversationsPreferred SkillsPrior experience in the Insurance domainExperience with cloud-native deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Background working in regulated financial services environmentsAbout UsWe're a technology talent solutions provider that connects exceptional engineers with the firms shaping the future of financial services.
