Position SummaryThe Restaurant Cook works alongside health-minded teammates in a fun and fast-paced environment proudly serving our members industry-leading healthy food options. They produce menu items according to recipes in a timely manner and following food safety guidelines.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdheres to the daily needs for the Bistro, including, but not limited to, stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety of kitchenMaintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchen equipment, and washing dishesManages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stationsFollows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients while preparing foodPosition RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDAbility to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of timeServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hireCPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hirePreferred Requirements* Experience in restaurant with fast casual or full service experienceExperience prepping recipesLife Time is a place for everyone.
