Job DescriptionControls Engineer / Robot ProgrammerJob Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated recent graduate with a degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field to join our team as a Controls Engineer and Robot Programmer. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in robotics, automation, and control systems. This role involves programming industrial robots, configuring PLC systems, and collaborating on complex automation projects. If you have a passion for robotics, control systems, and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and program PLC systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens). Program, test, and troubleshoot industrial robots using teach pendant programming and software tools. Develop and implement HMI (Human-Machine Interfaces) for seamless operator interaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design electrical systems for automation projects. Conduct simulation and testing of control systems using tools like MATLAB and Simulink. Ensure project deadlines are met, and documentation is completed for all programming tasks. Assist in the integration of SCADA systems for industrial applications. Participate in troubleshooting and optimization of automated systems in a real-time environment. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply). Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, and PLC programming. Experience with robot programming and robotic control systems. Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and CAD software (e.g., NX, SolidWorks). Familiarity with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC systems. Strong understanding of HMI development and SCADA systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Time management and project planning abilities, demonstrated through academic or project experience. Preferred Skills (Not Required):Experience with CNC machining. Hands-on experience with robotics projects or team leadership in competitions like the Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition (IGVC). Knowledge of mechanical design and electrical system integration.
