Learn more at www.doubleverify.com.Position Overview:The Data Reliability Engineer II is an integral part of the Data Operations Team, responsible for analyzing and externalizing DoubleVerify’s data internally as well as monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving the various company’s data pipelines and technologies.Responsibilities:You will gain in-depth knowledge of how data is collected, processed, and externalized to clients within DoubleVerify’s architectureYou will script in python and SQL extensivelyYou will be working with data analysis tools such as Grafana to create reports and data visualizationYou will be part of the on-call rotationYou will work with Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, OLTP, MongoDB, etcYou will be thrilled at the prospect of building strong relationships with different teams in the company, solving operational issues, and implementing quality improvementsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience. Degree in a technical field preferredStrong SQL querying skills1+ years SQL experience1+ years Linux environment experience1+ years of experience writing SQL and scripting languages python, bash, etcGood understanding of BI and Data Warehousing concepts (ETL, OLAP vs. OLTP, Slowly Changing Dimensions)Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt, learn new skill sets, and be able to understand operational challengesStrong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills with a clear focus under pressureMust be proactive with proven ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneouslyResourceful, results orientated with the ability to get things done and overcome obstaclesExcellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building with diverse, global, cross-functional teamProven ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in complex systemsGood understanding of process automationNice to have:Cloud computing fundamentals, knowledge of Google Cloud servicesPrevious experience with gitops, CI/CD, GitLab or other automation/delivery toolsThe successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $72,000- $144,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
