Strong understanding of PHP, Javascript and MySQLHistory of writing unit, integration and end-to-end testsAffinity for teamwork and leadership skillsHistory of working closely with Devops and SRE teamsStrong understanding of modern software design practicesAbility to write organized, legible, testable and efficient softwareProficient at using APM & other tools to debug and diagnose issues as well as conduct code performance profiling and optimization. Comfortable around a command line in a Linux-flavored environmentSolid understanding of web and network securityEagerness to learn and willingness to take initiative to solve problemsStrong Communication and writing skillsHistory of writing technical specifications based on product definitionsBonus SkillsExperience using the CakePHP FrameworkExperience working with Node.jsExperience with at least one modern JS Framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc).Experience with the AWS ecosystem and Docker/KubernetesExperience with DevOps tools (terraform, ansible) and CI/CDExperience working with systems that process payments (PCI DSS compliance)History of contributing to open source softwareAbility to demonstrate professional expertise with writing, blog posts, talks, or other public work
