The Sales Manager leads the store’s sales team to deliver an exceptional, inclusive customer experience for weddings, special occasions, and celebrations. Daily responsibilities include coaching and scheduling team members, setting and tracking sales goals, and ensuring visual merchandising and store standards are met. The Sales Manager actively engages on the sales floor, supports stylists with complex fittings and customer questions, and resolves service issues promptly and professionally. The role also collaborates with alterations, operations, and corporate partners to drive revenue, manage KPIs, and support local marketing or community events.Qualifications Proven experience in retail or specialty store sales leadership, preferably in apparel, bridal, or formalwear.Demonstrated skills in team management, including coaching, performance feedback, and shift or schedule planning.Strong customer service, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on inclusive and respectful service.Ability to analyze sales reports, monitor KPIs, and implement action plans to achieve store revenue and productivity goals.Organizational and time-management skills to balance floor leadership, training, and administrative tasks.Comfort working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment with evenings, weekends, and peak seasonal hours as needed.Effective verbal and written communication skills for engaging customers, coaching team members, and partnering with internal stakeholders.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, retail management, or a related field is beneficial.Experience with POS systems and basic proficiency in standard office and communication software.A genuine interest in fashion, styling, and special-occasion events, with a collaborative, supportive approach to teamwork.
