Vehicle Service Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems and field service experience, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and other related equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach to building, installing, and maintaining HVAC systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial settings. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for testing electrical components and ensuring system functionality. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate. Weld and plumb as necessary for system installations or repairs. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during each job. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications Proven experience in HVAC/R field service or related technical roles. Strong understanding of air conditioning systems, refrigeration principles, and heating technologies. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Certification in HVAC or relevant technical field is preferred but not required.
