Friday Amount of coverage needed per month: 30 days ??? 3 providers needed Patients per day: Consult volume varies with patient census averaging 25 patients Patient population/age: Rural population with high acuity GI service division. Multiple pathologies. Adult 18 and above Department description: Gastroenterology needing inpatient GI coverage. 7 on shift inpatient consultation plus procedures to manage one of two teams. 2nd team would be GI teaching service. o 3rd position would cover 7 on, alternating with current faculty. Total of 3 locum need.
