Child Care Aid

SENDCAA Child Care has an opening for a part time child care aide. Position is 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., M-F. Will work with your schedule. Opportunity for additional hours as needed. Responsibilities Job duties include: sitting with children at mealtime, meal set-up and take down, maintain a clean and safe classroom, assists in educational and enhancement activities, assists on the playground. Requirements Up to 2 years of high school Must be at least 16 years of age Fingerprints - Complete a fingerprint criminal history background check prior to start date. First Aid and CPR -First Aid/CPR/AED training must be completed within 90 days of hire. Cost covered by SENDCAA. Training- Complete the Child Care Aware ND Getting Started on-line workshop that you can do at your pace within 90 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of appropriate interaction with and care of young children. Skill and ability in relating to children and parents.
