Functional Medicine Physician - Hybrid
Job DescriptionAnnual Salary: $250k-$350k (varies depending on years of experience)We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Functional Medicine Physician to join our client’s healthcare team. This role involves identifying and treating the root causes of chronic illness through a personalized, patient-centered approach that integrates conventional and functional medicine practices. The ideal candidate will be passionate about holistic care, skilled in interpreting complex diagnostic data, and committed to empowering patients in their wellness journey.This is a HYBRID position! Work both onsite and remote!Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed health histories and physical examsOrder and interpret advanced diagnostic tests and lab resultsDevelop individualized treatment plans incorporating lifestyle changes, nutrition, supplements, and conventional therapiesEducate patients on wellness strategies including diet, exercise, stress management, and sleep hygieneCollaborate with other healthcare professionals (e.g., dietitians, therapists, health coaches) to ensure integrated careStay current with research and advancements in functional and integrative medicineMaintain accurate and compliant medical recordsParticipate in clinical program development and quality improvement initiativesQualifications:Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institutionBoard certification in Functional Medicine (e.g., through the Institute for Functional Medicine)Minimum of 3 years clinical experience, preferably in internal or family medicineStrong understanding of functional medicine principles and practicesExcellent diagnostic, interpersonal, and communication skillsCommitment to holistic, patient-centered careAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment—Atlas Search is a tri-state area recruitment agency, connecting new graduates, Advanced Practice Providers, Physicians and Nurse Leaders to hospitals, clinics, multi-specialty groups, nursing homes, managed care companies, private practices, and healthcare start-ups.If you would like to learn more about the opportunities we offer, please submit your CV for consideration here.
