For more information about DAWSON, please visit dawsonohana.comSalary $75,000-$85,000 Per YearJob Title: Deputy Project Manager – Student Support ServicesJob SummarySupport the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's training mission at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Charleston, South Carolina. As DAWSON's Student Services Deputy Project Manager, you will support the Project Manager in the oversight and execution of all student support service operations, including dormitory services, transportation, mailroom.om, warehouse, and student logistics. You will assist in ensuring all services are delivered in accordance with contract requirements, performance standards, and applicable regulations, directly supporting student readiness, morale, and training success.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Project Manager in managing day-to-day operations of all student support service functionsDirectly manage the warehouse, mailroom and Student Support Services.Support coordination and integration of all service areas to ensure seamless deliveryHelp plan, organize, and coordinate student services operations, including dormitory management, housekeeping, transportation, logistics, and mail servicesSupport development and execution of staffing plans and operational schedules based on student population and training needsMonitor service delivery to ensure alignment with Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirementsProvide guidance and support to subordinate managers and supervisors (Dormitory, Transportation, Warehouse, etc.)Assist in monitoring staffing levels and ensuring adequate coverage across all functions, including 24/7 operationsSupport employee performance management, evaluations, and corrective actionsAssist in ensuring compliance with federal regulations, contract requirements, and company policiesParticipate in inspections, audits, and quality control reviewsHelp enforce safety, environmental, and health standardsHelp ensure accountability of government-furnished property and materialsAssist in preparing operational reports, staffing metrics, and contract deliverablesHelp oversee timekeeping, labor reporting, and system compliance (e.g., Costpoint)Coordinate with government personnel, facilities, maintenance, and other contractorsRespond to escalated student concerns and operational issues as directed by the Project ManagerThis job description is not intended to be exhaustive. Management reserves the right to modify or assign additional duties as needed.QualificationsAt least 3 years of recent (within the past 5 years) experience supervising personnel on Federal contracts with a demonstrated responsible and successful work experience in their areas of specialty.Demonstrated experience in one or more student support service areas (housing, transportation, logistics, warehouse, etc.)Strong understanding of operations, logistics, and service delivery in a government contract environmentShall have proficiency in oral and written communications in English.Additional RequirementsMust be eligible for DHS background investigation and suitability clearance.Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident with work authorization.This position may require the operation of Company-provided vehicles.If operating Company-provided vehicles, maintaining a valid driver's license is required.If operating Company-provided vehicles, employee must comply with all vehicle and safety policies.If operating Company-provided vehicles, the Company may review your motor vehicle record (MVR).If operating Company-provided vehicles, you must notify the Company of any changes to your driving status.Work schedules are determined by management and may be modified at any time.DAWSON is an Equal Opportunity/VEVRAA federal contractor.
