API 510/570/653 Inspector - TAR WorkIntertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions to many of the world's top-recognized brands and companies, is actively seeking an API 510/570/653 Inspector to join our Asset Integrity Management team for a temporary project in Midland, Texas. Must be willing to travel.Temporary Project: 4-6 weeks beginning in mid-late JulyLocation: Midland, TexasAn API 510/570/653 Inspector position analyzing piping systems and circuits under the direction of Project Manager, Team Leader at a client facility during a TAR.Shift/Schedule: This is a short-term, project-based position working 12-hour shifts, 6-7 days per week for a period of approximately 3-4 weeks beginning on or around July 20, 2026.Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You also may be qualified to Per Diem dependent on distance from home address to client facility.What you'll do:Review and research documents to assist in determining piping systems and circuits.Interface with the client on technical matters involving Inspection procedures and capabilitiesProvide a professional appearance when interfacing with clients and other coworkersStay abreast of any new developments in API-certified Inspection that may be applicable in our businessWhat it takes to be successful in this role:Current API 510, 570 and/or API 653 certification with 5+ years' experience minimum; additional certifications a plusNDE and Drafting background preferredValid TWIC card (required)Valid driver's license and reliable driving record (required)Excellent computer and organizational skills a mustSelf-motivated driven individual a mustMust be able to apply examination criteria in accordance with applicable standards/specifications/procedures on the provided job scopes and evaluate test resultsMaintain open lines of communication with coworkers, clients, and subcontractorsAbility to provide clear and technical guidance to other technicians and subcontractors (preferred)Ability to solve technical issues in the field.Intertek: Total Quality.
