Geographic Information System Administrator

A well-backed and growing energy operator focus in the Upstream and Midstream O&G industry are looking to find an experienced GIS Administrator to join their team in Fort Worth.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of geospatial data, infrastructure, and enterprise systems, with real visibility across engineering, geology, land, and operations teams.Responsibilities:Administering and enhancing ArcGIS Enterprise environments and GIS applicationsDesigning, building, and maintaining spatial datasets, map layers, and web mapsSupporting cross-functional teams with mapping, analysis, and data-driven insightsManaging GIS data integrity and integration with SQL databases and other systemsPlaying a key role in land and asset mapping (leases, easements, ownership, etc.)Driving improvements in GIS workflows, automation, and data processesRequired skillset and experience:5+ years’ experience in GIS, ideally within oil & gas or a related sectorStrong experience with ESRI tools (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, SDE Geodatabases)Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise administrationSolid understanding of SQL databases (Python/Power BI a plus)Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate with both technical and non-technical teamsA proactive, self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail
