Ranked Faculty & Clinical Coordinator, Graduate Counseling
DescriptionHusson University in Bangor, Maine, is seeking a full-time core faculty member to serve as Clinical Coordinator with teaching responsibilities for the CACREP accredited graduate programs in Counseling: MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and MS in School Counseling. The program consists of two delivery pathways for students to attend: on-campus and digital synchronous delivery (all classes accessed using Zoom).Example of DutiesServing as the clinical coordinator for the program responsible for the coordination of practicum and internship experiences in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling masters programs Responding to inquiries regarding practicums and internship On-going connection with agencies and schools that serve as training sites for practicum and internship studentsDeveloping and fostering new sites and expanding sites in new locations as the digitally delivered program growsContinued support and inclusion of the collaborative counseling laboratory (TCCL)Advising students throughout the clinical phase of the programOnboarding students, sites, liaisons and University SupervisorsCoordinating Supervision Assist Assisting program faculty and director to meet student needsTeaching in the Graduate Counseling programAttending program faculty meetingsOther duties as assigned by Provost or designeeQualificationsRequired QualificationsAn earned doctorate from a CACREP accredited institution of higher education to meet CACREP core faculty standards (ABD considered) Eligibility for Maine state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and/or certification as a School Counselor (Maine 075)Preferred QualificationsPreparation and experience in clinical supervisionCounseling experience in clinical mental health and/or school counselingExperience in supervising counselors in trainingExperience in counseling student practicum and internship placement and coordinationTeaching experience in counselor education and supervisionKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Commitment to the preparation of counselors Commitment to effective graduate teaching and clinical supervision as evidenced by prior experiences and/or future goalsDemonstrated effective interpersonal skills and collegialityExcellent organizational skillsExcellent networking skills and experienceHUSSON UNIVERSITY IS AN EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER**Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.**#NT
