Test Engineer

Title: Test EngineerLocation: Onsite in Palatine, IllinoisType: ContractRate: $55/hrOur client in Palatine, Illinois is seeking a Test Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. Responsibilities:· Develops procedures and protocols for testing electronic devices.· Creates comprehensive test plans based on project requirements.· Performs thermal data collection and analysis to support continuous improvement· Designs, procures, and fabricates electromechanical automated test fixtures to support continuous improvement and new product development.· Execute Environmental stress testing· Conducts validation and verification testing of electronics and software.· Ability to perform component-level debugging of electronic devices, SMT soldering rework, and programming of internal PCBs as required.Experience/Skills:· Ability to troubleshoot and analyze circuit diagrams.· Ability to define problems, interpret data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions by applying logical or scientific thinking principles · Ability to read, record, interpret, and/or create technical data and documents required.· Ability to read and interpret CAD technical documentation relating to products and processes, and utilize the full range of mechanical, electronic, and software development equipment and systems.· Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter. Work with minimal supervision and have a hands-on approach to problem-solving.· Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to function as a team player and work constructively and cooperatively with all departments in the interests of the business.· Strong communication skills (written and verbal), including excellent interpersonal skills This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision
