Sales Channel Manager
PIERCAN (www.piercan.com), the world leader in the manufacture of gloves for isolators and RABS, is looking for a Sales Channel Manager to support our strategic distribution partners in North America and lead our South American business development. The ideal candidate will have experience with pharmaceutical, biotechnical, or nuclear applications, or applications where isolators or RABS are utilized. Previous experience could include working in these environments or technical sales in these applications.This position is focused on selling glovebox glove solutions into varying applications including pharmaceutical, nuclear, biotechnology, electronics, and industrial manufacturing. The Sales Channel Manager acts as a liaison between PIERCAN and our customers driving revenue by building and managing relationships with distributors, and agents. They are responsible for developing and recruiting new partners, creating sales strategies, providing enablement training, and managing performance to achieve joint sales goals. Essential elements to success are understanding both partner and end user processes. Ability to speak Spanish and/or Portuguese would be ideal.Responsibilities· Manage and nurture relationships with existing channel partners while identifying new partnership opportunities.· Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive revenue growth.· Collaboration: Work with marketing, sales, and product teams to drive promotional campaigns and support initiatives. Attend + exhibit at conferences to increase brand awareness. Gather and report competitive intelligence, including pricing, product, and territory strategies.· Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales data, forecasts, and set targets (KPIs) to measure partner performance. Ensure budget and time requirements are met.Conflict Resolution: Manage potential conflicts between direct sales teams and partners, adhering to rules of engagement.· Oversee account management activities, providing exceptional customer service and technical support to partners.· Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive channel sales strategies to expand market reach and meet revenue goals. Suggest innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience.· Enablement & Support: Provide partners with training, tools, and marketing materials to effectively communicate PIERCAN partnership and value. Qualifications:· Proven experience in channel sales, business development, or partner management.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on negotiation, and presentation skills. · Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with partners.· Analytical and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.· Ability to sell technical solutions, analyze market trends and create actionable growth plans.· Able to perform with limited supervision.· Ability to collaborate with a diverse team at multiple levels of the organization.· Basic skills with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.· Travel more than 50% of the time. Including some internationally.· Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency preferred Education:· Two to Four years of experience in a similar technical sales role.
