This position will be located at our Home Office in Stevens Point, WI and is not a remote opportunity. For this position, Sentry does not offer employment to holders of F-1, J-1, and H-1 Visas.What You'll Do As an Actuarial Analyst you will play a key role in assessing the performance of our business and steering the direction of our future.You will:Summarize results and analyze the performance of our business.Monitor for the development of trends that may be concerning or identify opportunities.Recommend changes to improve our results.Develop rates and fees using actuarial techniques and market analyses.Work with other business units on product development and administrative initiatives.Represent our unit on cross functional teams.Research industry issues and stay abreast of market trends.What it TakesBachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Actuary Science or related field or equivalent work experience0-2+ years of experience in an actuarial environmentDedicated commitment and record of successfully completing actuarial exams (1 or more completed exams, 2-3 completed exams preferred)Independence to take projects from start to finishComplex data analysis experience (data visualization analysis preferred)Modeling software experience beneficialProficient in Excel and Access (Visual Basic experience beneficial)What You'll ReceiveAt Sentry, your total rewards go beyond competitive compensation.
