Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow and Spark to solve complex business problems.
Conduct data mining and exploratory data analysis on large-scale datasets stored across cloud platforms like AWS and Hadoop environments.
Build robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to prepare data for analysis using tools such as Talend and SAS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, develop database schemas, and optimize database design for efficient data retrieval.
Apply unsupervised learning techniques to identify patterns and anomalies within unstructured or semi-structured data sources like linked data or natural language text.
Deploy models into production environments ensuring scalability and performance through model training, validation, and deployment best practices.
Utilize SQL, Python, R, Bash (Unix shell), VBA, and Java for scripting, automation, and integration tasks across various platforms.
Leverage analytics tools like Looker to visualize insights and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Stay abreast of advancements in AI, quantum engineering concepts related to data processing, and emerging machine learning frameworks to continuously enhance analytical capabilities.
Skills
Proficiency in programming languages including Python, R, Java, C, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), with a focus on data analysis and model development.
Extensive experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and cloud services like AWS for scalable data processing.
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques; experience with TensorFlow is highly desirable.
Expertise in natural language processing (NLP), AI applications, and linked data integration for comprehensive analysis.
Knowledge of database design principles along with hands-on experience with SQL for querying large datasets efficiently.
Familiarity with ETL processes using Talend or similar tools to streamline data workflows.
Experience with analytics visualization platforms such as Looker or equivalent BI tools for presenting insights clearly.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams while managing multiple projects involving model training, evaluation, deployment, and maintenance.
