Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:\nRN - Med Surg\n\nJob Details:\n• Varied work schedule with weekend and holiday requirements\n• Float per facility guidelines\n• Current, valid RN license in state of practice required\n• BLS certification required\n• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting required\n• Experience must include working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area\n• Bachelor's degree preferred\n• Professional certification preferred\n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of patients\n• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities\n• Complete patient assessments and reassessments according to patient needs and policy guidelines\n• Formulate and implement plans of care including discharge planning\n• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records\n• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members\n• Provide patient and family education\n• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds\n• Requires physical agility to respond to unexpected patient care needs\n• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids\n\nFacility:\nThis healthcare organization is a leading medical center that provides comprehensive patient care services with a focus on excellence in nursing practice.
