The primary purpose of this role is the high-impact delivery of Biomedical Engineering (BME) curricula, ensuring that course objectives are met across both campuses in accordance with university calendars. Reporting within the joint Department of Biomedical Engineering, the incumbent will provide critical academic leadership in the classroom and laboratory, directly influencing the next generation of engineers through rigorous assessment, mentorship, and collaborative program development.Key ResponsibilitiesInstructional Excellence: Develop and deliver a comprehensive design experience based on the FDA Biologics approval pathway, maintaining a load of 2-3 courses per semester (4-6 per academic year) across both NC State and UNC campuses. The anticipated course load is junior design and senior design each semester.
