Candidates must work in the US without sponsorship.DescriptionSystem One IT is staffing a contract‐to‐hire opening for a Technical Project Manager III who will support several projects for a large federal agency. The qualified applicant will become part of the client's Citizen Services operating unit, which focuses on IT solutions for Federal, State, and Local government clients. Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and communication skills with keen attention to detail are required.ResponsibilitiesProvide support to specific initiatives (Server, Storage, Network, and Database integration).Create and manage WBS.Create and manage the schedule.Create and manage scope.Create and manage the communications plan.Coordinate and participate in planning and status meetings; document proceedings in meeting minutes.Develop or edit PowerPoint presentations for Senior Executive staff.Maintain documentation on SharePoint sites.Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills to manage technical topics for management and non‐technical audiences.Update the deployment and installation project plan using Microsoft Project Server 2010; expand high‐level plan into detailed task plans with milestones, timelines, success factors, and tracking methods.Maintain the project SharePoint site as required by the SSA PM.Schedule and facilitate planning meetings; take attendance, record notes, publish meeting notes on SharePoint within 24 hours.Create and maintain required reports and network performance management documents.Create and maintain Visio diagrams of network and application layout.Basic Qualifications5 years of experience managing technical projects.5 years of experience in large enterprise environments.5 years of experience developing lifecycle documents (Use Cases, Detailed Functional Requirements, Detailed Design Specifications, Business Process Models, Test Cases).4 years leading requirements discovery sessions with customers and SMEs; translate results into requirements/design documents and Use Cases.1 year experience using Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.3+ years dealing with Federal Government contract vehicles such as GSA Schedule 70 and NASA SEWP.PMP certification from PMI.Must obtain a Public Trust clearance.Preferred QualificationsPrior Federal Government or large‐scale corporate experience.Strong analytical and communication skills.Experience building customer relationships.3 years of experience with Requirements Management Tools.Technical writing skills and ability to review others' work products.Position RulesW‐2 candidates only, no 1099.Candidates must work in the US without sponsorship.Equal‐Employment Opportunity StatementSystem One is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
