Location: St. Charles, MOSalary: $70.00 USD Hourly - $75.00 USD HourlyDescription: Job Description: Experienced Embedded Software EngineerWe are currently seeking an Experienced Embedded Software Engineer to support a growing Precision Engagement Systems engineering organization based in St. Charles, MO.About The TeamThe Precision Engagement Systems group is a dynamic and expanding organization that develops advanced precision-guided systems used globally to support the defense needs of the United States and allied nations. The team is actively building capability to meet increasing program demands across multiple platforms.We are looking for experienced software engineers to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team in designing and developing high-reliability software solutions for real-time embedded systems.Engineers in this role contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, integration, testing, and sustainment.Current and future work scope includes:Development of real-time embedded software applicationsCreation of software models and simulationsDeployment of DevOps methodologies and development environmentsDevelopment of support tools and applicationsMaintenance of software configurations and Agile development processesWhy St. Charles, MOOn-site cafeteria offering hot meals and grab-and-go optionsActive Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) supporting networking, mentorship, and community engagementCampus walking path and outdoor spaces for wellness activities and informal meetingsFitness and wellness programs, commuter resources, and local community eventsPosition ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with a multi-discipline engineering team to design and implement Operational Flight Program (OFP) software solutionsParticipate in all phases of the software development lifecycle within an Agile environmentDevelop software solutions using Ada, C#, and PythonPerform unit-level testing and support system-level testing to ensure software functionalityAnalyze problem reports and troubleshoot software defectsContinuously develop technical and leadership skillsOpportunity to work directly with government defense stakeholdersBasic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)3+ years of experience in real-time embedded software development3+ years of experience applying object-oriented programming principles3+ years of experience working in a team-based engineering environmentPreferred QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Active U.S. Secret Security ClearanceExperience with Ada, Python, and/or C#Experience in an Agile software development environmentFamiliarity with Git or similar version control systemsExperience developing, managing, and tracing software requirementsBy providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
