Maintenance Planner — Brooklyn, NY - DAY SHIFT! Location: Brooklyn, NY Schedule: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday-Friday Overview: We're seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to manage the work order management system at a commercial kitchen facility. This is a non-hands-on, data and coordination-focused role critical to minimizing equipment downtime and controlling repair costs. Responsibilities: · Own and manage the work order management system (WMS/CMMS), tracking equipment status and downtime · Coordinate with vendors and technicians to ensure repairs are completed quickly and efficiently · Work with the maintenance/tech team to ensure preventive maintenance (PM) schedules are followed and completed on time · Partner with vendors to manage and ideally lower repair costs · Order parts and maintain accurate inventory levels · Track, document, and report on repair spend and parts costs · Maintain accurate records and documentation across all maintenance activity Requirements: · Strong experience with CMMS/work order management platforms · Highly organized, analytical, and comfortable in a primarily computer and data-driven role · Strong vendor and internal team communication skills · Prior experience in a facilities, food production, commercial kitchen, or industrial/manufacturing environment strongly preferred · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail · Proactive, team-oriented, detail-driven Nice to have: · Background in facilities, maintenance, or industrial operations coordination · Familiarity with reading technical manuals or equipment documentation Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): Do you have experience with work order management and preventive maintenance scheduling?
