Software Engineer
Interrupt Vector Computing is hiring a Software Engineer to build AI agents that help people manage their personal finances. You'll design, build, and ship agentic systems that understand a person's financial picture and take useful action on their behalf, safely and reliably.
What you'll do:
- Design and build AI agents that help users budget, track spending, plan, and make better financial decisions
- Integrate large language models with tools, APIs, and financial data sources to create agents that can reason and act
- Build evaluation, testing, and monitoring systems to make sure agents are accurate, safe, and trustworthy with sensitive financial data
- Own features end to end, from prototype to production
- Collaborate closely with product and design to turn user needs into delightful agent experiences
What we're looking for:
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience shipping production systems
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs, such as prompting, tool use, retrieval, or agent frameworks
- Good judgment about reliability, security, and privacy, especially when handling sensitive data
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment and communicating clearly in writing
- Interest in personal finance and helping people improve their financial lives
Nice to have:
- Experience with fintech, banking APIs, or financial data
- Experience building evals or observability for AI systems
- This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates based in the United States.
