Executive Assistant and Office Manager at VC Firm

Our client, a fast-growing venture capital firm, is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant / Office Manager to support two senior executives and help oversee day-to-day office operations for their New York team. The firm has a small but highly active presence in NYC with under 10 professionals and a couple of administrative staff, and operates in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where organization, responsiveness, and strong judgment are essential.This role combines executive support with office management responsibilities and is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment. The position will involve managing complex calendars and travel, supporting the broader team, and ensuring the office runs smoothly day-to-day. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly. They are seeking someone ambitious, motivated, flexible, and calm under pressure, with strong emotional intelligence and a true team-first mindset.The firm is based in NoHo and operates fully in-office five days per week.RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide high-level executive support to two senior executivesManage complex calendars, scheduling internal and external meetingsCoordinate detailed domestic and international travel arrangements and itinerariesPrepare and submit expense reports as neededServe as Office Manager for the New York office, ensuring smooth daily operationsCoordinate office logistics including supplies, stocking the pantry, and general office organizationManage incoming mail and deliveriesAssist with planning and coordinating team events and internal gatheringsSupport the broader team with administrative needs as they arisePartner with the other administrative professional to ensure seamless support across the officeMaintain organization, responsiveness, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environmentTake on ad hoc projects and operational needs as requiredREQUIREMENTS:8–10 years of Executive Assistant experience supporting senior professionalsPrior experience in financial services preferred (venture capital, private equity, hedge fund, or investment banking), though flexible on backgroundExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to remain calm and effective in high-pressure or fast-moving situationsStrong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skillsProactive, ambitious, and highly motivated personalityFlexible mindset with a willingness to help wherever neededExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)HOURS:8:30am–6:00/6:30pm5 days per week in office (NoHo)SALARY:$150K–$170K base (DOE) + target bonus (~25%) + 100% covered health, dental, and vision + 401K with 4% match + lunch provided daily + cell phone and computer.
