Coding & STEM Instructor

We’re looking for energetic, tech‑savvy individuals to join our team as Coding & STEM Instructors. This part‑time position is ideal for Houston‑area college students — or high school students with coding experience — who enjoy working with younger learners and have flexible availability. Candidates interested in staying long‑term are strongly encouraged to apply. In addition to teaching, candidates with interest or experience in light admin or marketing tasks will have opportunities to support center operations and outreach. These tasks are not required, but they are a great plus and help us grow our programs. What You’ll Do Lead fun, interactive lessons that introduce K–12 students to coding and STEM concepts. Support students as they build projects using platforms like Scratch, Roblox Studio, Minecraft Education, and other beginner‑friendly tools. Create a welcoming, encouraging environment where students feel confident exploring technology. Communicate clearly and professionally with students and families when needed. Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to teach each session. Optional (Plus): Assist with light admin/marketing tasks such as social media monitoring and posting maintaining positive customer relationships helping with class scheduling These tasks are not required but offer additional growth opportunities. What We’re Looking For Familiarity with basic coding concepts and/or game‑based learning platforms such as Scratch, Roblox, or Minecraft. Strong communication skills and a positive, patient attitude with kids. Dependable, responsible, and comfortable leading small groups. Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus but not required. Must be a current college student or a high school student with coding experience. Must have reliable transportation. Flexible scheduling and interest in continuing with us for relative long term are preferred.
