Every individual plays a meaningful role, works closely with senior leadership, and contributes directly to the firm’s long-term success.Position OverviewWe are seeking a high-potential professional to join our team as a full-time Account Executive. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, motivated, intellectually curious, and eager to develop into a senior-level executive within a specialized financial services environment.The Account Executive will work directly with seasoned executives, receive structured mentorship, and progressively take on sales, service, and strategic responsibilities. This position is designed as a career-track role with clear growth to senior sales, management, and leadership opportunities.This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days in office at our headquarters in Quincy, Massachusetts. The executive will be required to travel multiple weeks annually.This role is best suited for a career-driven individual seeking long-term professional growth. Successful candidates will demonstrate leadership potential, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to grow into a senior executive role within our organizational structure.Key ResponsibilitiesLearn and develop a deep understanding of A.W.G. Dewar’s business model, products, and servicesSupport senior executives in all aspects of sales, account management, and client serviceParticipate in meetings, presentations, and on-site engagements with schools and institutional partnersAssist with client onboarding, renewals, and ongoing account supportContribute to company strategy, data analysis, and reportingSupport marketing and business development initiatives, including: Advertising and promotional materialsConvention and conference participationWeb-based communications and digital initiativesPerform administrative and operational tasks as needed in a small-company environmentDemonstrate increasing ownership of accounts and responsibilities as competence growsTraining & DevelopmentComprehensive onboarding and mentorship by senior sales executives and leadership teamGradual transition from support responsibilities to independent account and sales ownershipExposure to executive-level decision-making, strategy, and leadership developmentDesired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, economics, or a related fieldStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skillsProfessional maturity, confidence, and a strong work ethicProven ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment5+ years of professional experience in sales development, account management, financial services, or a client-facing professional business role is preferredInsurance Producer’s License preferred (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe)CompensationBase salary: $110,000 – $115,000Additional compensation: Annual performance-based bonus opportunity
