Junior Systems Engineer

We are working with a leading defense technology company that solves complex operational and engineering challenges for mission-critical initiatives.The Role Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering methods across requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities Develop and maintain system models, architecture products, diagrams, and digital engineering deliverables Support interoperability analysis for effective system operation across various environments Produce model-derived reports, technical summaries, and decision-support products for leadership Manage and coordinate model information, resources, and digital-thread objectives Collaborate with government customers and cross-functional stakeholders to align MBSE products with program objectivesWhat You'll Need Bachelor’s degree in engineering, systems engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related STEM field 3+ years of relevant Model-Based Systems Engineering, systems engineering, digital engineering, or system architecture experience Experience applying MBSE principles to various lifecycle activities Knowledge of Systems Modeling Language, Unified Modeling Language, or related systems engineering standards Experience with a collaborative MBSE or digital engineering environment (e.g., MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler) Active DoD Secret Clearance at the start of employment and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret ClearanceWhat's On Offer Competitive annual salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees and family members 100% company-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability for eligible employees 401(k) plan with discretionary employer matchingApply via Haystack today!
