Maintenance Technician (Plastic Injection Molding)Location: Lancaster, PA (On-Site) Schedule: Monday to Friday (Based on Business Needs) Compensation: $27.00 $32.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience) Employment Type: Full-Time Position SummaryThe Maintenance Technician (Plastic Injection Molding) is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting plastic injection molding machinery and associated equipment, including robots, chillers, thermolators, and hot runner systems. This role ensures optimal equipment performance and supports the overall production process through effective preventive and corrective maintenance. Essential FunctionsInspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on molding machines and robotics according to specifications. Regularly check and maintain heater bands, rings, screws, and barrels. Safely operate appropriate tools and equipment to remove, repair, and install parts. Maintain accurate maintenance and service records. Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures. Ideal Candidate ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in plastic injection molding maintenance (required). Strong understanding of auxiliary, electrical, and hydraulic equipment, robots, and related systems. Ability to read blueprints, follow established procedures, and maintain accurate documentation.
