Details Labor & Delivery unit within a Level 1 Trauma Center hospital setting Modalities covered include Antepartum, Labor & Delivery, Lactation, and Postpartum High-risk labor & delivery patient population Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM Every 3rd weekend required Holiday rotation required 13-week contract Requirements Active Illinois (IL) RN license currently in hand Graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification required Minimum 2 years of RN experience High-risk labor & delivery experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP COVID-19 vaccination required Additional Information Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members using the nursing process to deliver patient care Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards, policies, and applicable state law Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans inclusive of patient and family instruction Participate in department performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance Apply critical thinking to patient safety and experience, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command American Traveler Job ID P-692244.
