This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible role where legal expertise directly influences executive decision-making and company direction.Hybrid (Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA) SummaryThe Corporate Attorney will serve as a key legal advisor across multiple business units, providing guidance on corporate governance, commercial contracts, compliance, and regulatory matters. This role blends transactional work with strategic advisory responsibilities, making it ideal for attorneys who want to operate as true business partners.ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (vendor, customer, SaaS, licensing, NDAs, etc.)Provide legal counsel on corporate governance, entity management, and internal policiesPartner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, M&A activity, and risk mitigationEnsure compliance with federal, state, and industry-specific regulationsSupport employment-related legal matters in collaboration with HRManage outside counsel relationships and optimize legal spendIdentify legal risks and implement proactive solutions to protect the organizationRequirementsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive bar membership in at least one U.S. state5–10+ years of experience in corporate law (law firm or in-house)Strong background in contract negotiation and corporate transactionsExperience advising business stakeholders in a fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management practicesExcellent communication and business acumenPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting high-growth or private equity-backed organizationsExposure to M&A transactions and due diligence processesFamiliarity with technology, SaaS, or manufacturing environmentsAbility to operate autonomously while influencing cross-functional teamsCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $140,000 – $185,000 + performance bonusComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchGenerous PTO and flexible work environmentClear path for career progression and leadership exposure
