Job description:Whiz Learning Kids is an afterschool program for schools across Gwinnett County and Atlanta that brings technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to elementary and middle school students in a fun and challenging way through classes and summer camp.We are proud to inspire children to build on their natural curiosity by teaching engineering, computer science, and design concepts through hands-on learning. If you are interested in and have experience with video game design, computer programming, and enjoy working with children, then this is a great opportunity for you!Qualifications/Requirements:has experience making Roblox, minecraft and games of varying skillhas experience and enjoy working with children ages 7-14has reliable transportationhas flexibility, excellent work ethic, communicative, and is dependableis enthusiastic and be able to work independently and within a teamis a fast-learner and transparenthas experience with video game design or computer programminginterested in teaching classes of varying sizesResponsibilities•      Deliver engaging, age-appropriate coding lessons to K–7 students using the WLK curriculum•      Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment•      Prepare materials and set up technology (laptops, tablets) before each session•      Track student attendance and progress, and communicate updates to program leadership•      Participate in mandatory orientation, training, and occasional team meetings•      Represent WhizLearning Kids professionally at all school partner sites
