This is a salaried position with a range of $58,000 to 62,000 per year that is paid weekly plus Bonus eligible. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications, experience, internal equity, and market considerations.AWC offers a generous benefits package supporting both physical and mental wellbeing. AWC corporate staff have paid holidays, floating holidays, vacation and sick accruals, bereavement leave and jury duty leave.Summary of Position:This position supervises, coordinates and expedites the flow of materials and parts in the Materials Department and directs the associates in that department. It also interacts with AWC management, vendors, and customers, to ensure all inventory counts and part levels are accurate and appropriate.Essential Functions, Duties & Tasks:Supervises, coordinates and expedites the flow of materials and partsOversees the inventory control process for all incoming, outgoing, and existing materials using VIPS and other related spreadsheetsSupport the monitoring of daily production activityEnsures that all customer and AWC policies, processes and procedures are followed.Responsible for adhering to the safety program in order to provide a safe, clean work place for all personnel within the regulations of local, state and OSHA standards.Responsible for holding associates accountable to all company policiesResponsible for coaching, mentoring and issuing disciplinary reprimands as necessary to direct reports.Generates daily status report detailing inventory deficienciesReviews information with the Operations Manager and Terminal Manager of inventory overages or shortagesMaintains and logs all warranty and internal claims on spreadsheetsEnsures our customer receives all necessary documentation in a manner requested by the customerCreate Bill of Ladings for all shipmentsDispense materials to the Accessory associatesPerforms monthly, weekly, and daily physical inventory of all partsPerforms annual cycle countingCommunicate parts challenges to the Terminal ManagerAssist with periodic inspections of the forklift condition and operationDevelops work schedules and assigns work to subordinatesReviews and recommends inventory level changes to meet production demandsCoordinates all damaged goods returns as necessaryTrains new associates and temporary workers in the materials department, documenting the sameReact to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assignedComplete all other duties assigned by the managementKnowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:Ability to communicate deficiencies not in line with quality standards to appropriate personnel in a diplomatic and assertive mannerAbility to produce accurate information in an organized and efficient mannerAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to adhere to strict installation standards without varianceAbility to keep confidential any work documents seen or conversations heard during performance of job dutiesGood vision for inspectionAbility to pay extreme attention to detailMust have a positive attitude and ability to work in a team-orientated culture with strong communication skillsAbility to have and maintain a valid driver's licenseMust be computer literateMust treat all individuals with respect and dignityMust be able to resolve conflict with the ability to build relationshipsMust be able to use effective coaching and mentoring skillsMust be customer-focused, quality and results orientated and have solid decision-making abilities with strong organizational skillsAbility to work in extreme weather conditionsVarious duties as assigned or required to help the facility function as a team environmentRead and understand VIN numbers, repair orders, work orders, and other documentsUnderstand and enforce AWC policies and Company safety policiesCommunicate problems to Terminal ManagerEducation, Experience & Minimum Requirements:Minimum of 1-year supervisory and or 2 years work within the parts field experience, preferably in logisticsPreferred Requirements:Manufacturing floor experienceCollege degree and/or equivalent of five year's work experience in the parts and inventory fieldData gatheringAuto Warehousing Company, including its subsidiaries, is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, veteran status, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status or disability (in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act) with respect to employment opportunities.
