Title: Materials Planner - 5 OpeningsLocation: On-site at San Antonio, TXDuration: 12 MonthsHours: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM with lunch /Monday-Thursday (We will be transitioning to 10-hour days in the future. 4/10's Monday -Thursday)Local Candidates ONLY to San Antonio, TX. Third-party or C2C candidates will not be consideredDescription:The plant is making some changes to the schedules effective this week.It is required that consultants wear steel-toed shoes all day long.No jewelry as this is a plant environment.Work within a material planning team at San Antonio manufacturing facility, where we build Class 6-8 commercial trucks and EVs.Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules.Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering.Develops specifications for new contract orders.Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systemsDesired Skills:Proficient with MS OfficeStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Requirements:Bachelor's degree and no experienceORAt least 2 years of shop order planning and purchasing experience
