This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth team working on real-world problems in clean tech, automation, and AI.Key ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities may include:Supporting logistics and deployment of LUMI robots to active solar construction sitesAssisting with internal systems like inventory tracking, financial reports, and vendor coordinationBuilding and testing robotic software modules, including perception, navigation, or UX systemsDesigning and prototyping hardware components using CAD, 3D printing, or light machiningTroubleshooting robotic platforms, sensors, and electronics in both lab and field settingsSupporting marketing, onboarding, and events coordination with the operations teamParticipating in code reviews, documentation, and cross-functional engineering meetingsAnalyzing sensor data and helping build visualization or debugging toolsQualificationsCurrent undergraduate or graduate student in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related fieldDemonstrated interest in robotics, renewable energy, or clean techSome hands-on experience with tools such as:C++ / Python / ROSSolidWorks / Onshape / CADGit, Agile methods, Jira, or equivalentHardware tools, sensors, embedded systems, or electronicsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to adapt in a fast-paced, startup environmentTeam-oriented and excited about real-world deployment challengesPrior experience with perception algorithms, mechanical assembly, or startup operations is a plusCulture FitAt Luminous, we value grit, creativity, and humility.
