Operator - Broom Tractor - HMAC - (Dallas, TX) - Austin Bridge & RoadAustin Bridge & Road is currently seeking experienced Asphalt Broom/Sweeper Operators for any of the North, TX asphalt projects. We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us. The Broom/Sweeper Operator operates a self-propelled machine to sweep and clean roadway surfaces. May oil, grease, service and make adjustments to equipment as needed. Performs other related duties.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily equipment maintenance and inspectionsOperate equipment in a safe and efficient mannerAssist paving crew with site preparation and any other activity as neededParticipate as a vital team member, contributing towards Austin's successAttend daily safety meetingsFollow safety policies and proceduresWork hours adjusted to meet the project's needs; days, nights and weekendsAble to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperaturesOther duties as assignedQualifications1+ years of experience operating asphalt equipmentMust have a strong commitment to jobsite safetyDiligent in demonstrating safe work practices.Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
