We are partnered with a Retail company that is looking for a part time Accounting Consultant to cover for a leave. The client needs someone 15-20 hours per week and are remote.Pay: 50-70/hour depending on experience Responsibilities:Review accounts payable bills weekly Review cash flow projections weekly Review weekly check run Review monthly financial statements as part of the month-end close process (Staff Accountant prepares workbooks with detailed instructions; Controller provides high-level review) Assist with sales tax items as needed — basic oversight plus troubleshooting on ad hoc items (e.g., supporting a state audit and providing related data) Prepare quarterly reforecasting worksheet in partnership with internal team and Staff Accountant (anticipated to be regular given current business flux) Required Qualifications:Controller-level accounting experience Comfortable operating independently in a part-time / fractional capacity Experience reviewing financial statements, AP, cash flow projections, and month-end close Sales tax exposure, including audit/notice handling Reforecasting and budgeting experience Strong communication and ability to partner with internal staff (Staff Accountant, business leads) If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.The Solomon Page DistinctionSolomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
