Patient Financial Services Representative
A company is looking for a Patient Financial Services Representative 4 - Insurance Follow Up to join their Denials team.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate submission of clean claims and serve in the absence of the supervisor or manager
Resolve complex issues through coordination with team members and other departments, ensuring claims are reviewed and corrections made within 24 hours
Document account activity professionally and maintain knowledge of payer requirements and hospital policies
Required Qualifications
Education: Associate Degree or three additional years of relevant experience
Experience: 3 years in revenue cycle, finance, customer service, or data analytics
Preferred: Expertise in Insurance Follow-Up Denials and proficiency in hospital billing systems
Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, commercial insurance, and HIPAA regulations
Ability to analyze patient accounts and resolve billing or insurance issues effectively
