Skilled Carpenter

Job DescriptionFraming & Structure: Constructing, erecting, and repairing building frameworks, including walls, rafters, and doorframes.Finish Carpentry: Installing molding, cabinets, doors, windows, and hardware.Installation & Repair: Installing drywall, laying flooring, and replacing damaged woodwork.Blueprint Reading: Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine project requirements.Material Prep: Measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plastic, and other materials with precision.Safety & Compliance: Adhering to local building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA guidelines. Job RequirementsExperience: Completed apprenticeship or equivalent extensive, hands-on experience in construction.Technical Skill: Proficiency in operating tools like saws, drills, sanders, and routers.Math Skills: Strong mathematical abilities for calculating measurements and material estimates.Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs), and work at heights.Attention to Detail: High precision in finishing work, such as cabinetry or trim. Working Conditions Environment: Frequently works outdoors in various weather conditions, on construction sites, or indoors in unfinished spaces.Hazards: Exposure to dust, fumes, loud noises, and hazardous machinery.
