Director of Engineering - AI/ML - CDH - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Director Of Engineering - Ai/ml - CDH - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $150,000 – $200,000 annuallyResponsibilities Lead the strategy, design, and implementation of AI solutions across the organization Oversee teams building scalable AI models and ensure compliance Collaborate with product, data, and engineering leaders to drive innovation Apply Agile methodologies for high-impact digital solutions Champion user-centered design methodologies and oversee usability testing efforts Oversee governance and scalability of design systems and UX standards Guide cybersecurity priorities alongside technical and compliance teamsQualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Design, Business, Cybersecurity, Health Informatics) 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 5+ years in AI/ML leadership roles Proven experience leading large cross-functional teams Experience in multi-domain AI applications such as predictive analytics and personalization Advanced degree (e.g., MS, MBA, MDes, MPH) in a relevant discipline preferredBenefits Multiple medical plan options Flexible dental coverage Affordable vision plan with a national network Pre-tax savings options (HSA and FSAs) Competitive retirement packageOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
