Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Class A CDL Instructor based in Alexandria, KY. The instructor will be responsible for providing rigorous, hands-on training for students pursuing a Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Daily responsibilities include teaching classroom courses on driving principles and safety regulations, conducting behind-the-wheel training, supervising student practice sessions, and ensuring adherence to state and federal driving standards. The instructor will foster a positive learning environment and mentor students to excel in their driving skills while promoting road safety. Qualifications Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a clean driving record.Experience in classroom instruction and hands-on training within a driving school or similar field.In-depth knowledge of state and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols.Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentorship skills to effectively engage with students.Ability to provide clear instructions and constructive feedback to students of varying competency levels.Patience, professionalism, and commitment to fostering student success, safety, and confidence.Prior teaching or training certification is a plus.Experience in the trucking or transportation industry is an asset.
