Program Coordinator
The Sanga Corporation, Inc operates multiple DDD group homes in Arizona supporting individuals with developmental disabilities throughout the Phoenix, Glendale, Avondale, Mesa, and Tucson area. We are currently seeking Program Coordinators for our residential program areas in both the West and East Valley (Mesa) and central Phoenix. These positions report to the Assistant Regional Director. The salary for both openings starts at $40,700. Responsibilities Develop, implement, modify, and monitor consumers' habilitative support plans and behavior treatment plans. Supervise and monitor staff schedules and performance. Provide supervision, coaching, and training of all direct support professionals. Oversee daily operation for compliance to DES/DDD monitoring rules, program implementation, inventories, consumer medical care, nutrition, medication, home safety, and cleanliness. Ensure high quality programs and confirm that all consumer habilitation activities and records comply with contractual agreements. Oversee the direction, performance, evaluation, and counseling of Direct Support Professionals. Maintain thorough understanding of all licensing, program monitoring, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Ensure the quality of group homes and staff compliance. Conduct weekly, biweekly, and monthly reviews of all assigned group homes. Follow up with DDD and staff to ensure contractual compliance. Support recruiting and hiring of Direct Support Professionals. Qualifications Work authorization (Required) High school or equivalent (Preferred) Driver's License (Preferred) Required Qualifications Solid knowledge of DES/DDD Licensing and Program Monitoring rules. Extensive knowledge of programs and strategies for serving individuals with developmental disabilities, positive behavior management techniques, and development of behavior plans. Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Quick and creative thinker. Ability to plan, organize, and carry out program objectives. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of principles of supervision with demonstrated ability to maintain successful working relationships with all staff, consumers, families, and state employees. Must have fairly clean MVR and will be subject to criminal background check. Qualified candidate should be a leader and team player, able to multi-task and be efficient. The ability to delegate and follow up is necessary to be successful in this position. Exceptional time management skills are a must. Habilitation skill-building and behavior management experience required, as is residential service experience. Candidates must have previous experience in this position prior to applying. Preferred Qualifications Degree in business, social work, or related degree or comparable Program Coordinating experience in the DDD field preferred but not required.
