Construction Engineering InspectorExpanding Michigan firm with a critical role for a Construction Engineering Inspector is hiring in Rochester Hills!Responsibilities:Daily communication with project team members, clients, and contractorsRead/interpret project plans, drawings, and specificationsVarious inspections including underground utilities, road and/or bridge items and report discrepancies to Project EngineerFollow QA/QC practices/proceduresEnsure work is compliant with plans, contractor submittalsMeasure, calculate, and determine quantities of assigned work and/or installed materialsEnsure installed materials meet specifications and testing requirementsPrepare Daily Inspector's Reports and review other reportsRequirements:Associates Degree in Civil Technology requiredBachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred3+ years of construction/inspection experience3+ years of experience in bridge/roadway construction inspectionExperience working on Michigan construction projectsMDOT certifications preferredExperience with Bluebeam, Fieldbook, and Microsoft OfficeSalary is commensurate with experience.Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.Please contact Laura Harrison for further information!www.harrisonconsultingsolutions.com517-906-6926
