Day Services Coordinator
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Day Services Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily activities and providing support to participants in our day program. The program serves individuals with developmental disabilities and aims to promote independence, socialization, and personal growth.

Available Position:
Full-time; 40 hours per week
Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
Wage: From $17.50 per hour
Hiring Bonus: $1,000 (paid in three increments)
As the Day Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and inclusive environment. You will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement engaging activities, ensuring that each participant's needs and interests are met. Additionally, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring a smooth and effective program delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct Services Coordinators address the wants and needs of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, which include:
Promote and encourage community integration and socialization opportunities in a positive manner.
Coordinate daily activities for participants in the day program
Provide individualized support to participants, taking into account their unique needs and goals
Collaborate with other team members to design and implement individualized care plans
Monitor the progress of participants and make necessary adjustments to their care plans
Reinforce therapies, including speech, behavioral support and physical therapy
Administer medications and maintain accurate medication records
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of participant progress and program activities
Ensure all needs are addressed in a respectful manner with dignity and personal choice
Complete and maintain required documentation and trainings

Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience working with folks with intellectual and developmental disabilities or related experience
Must be at least 19 years of age
Completion of High School Diploma or GED
Possess a valid driver's license and current auto insurance
Pass all background checks: criminal, DMV, dependent adult and child abuse registry
On the job training: in-person and on-line
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent in-person and electronic communication skills and interpersonal skills
