Your Role:
MilliporeSigma in Bellefonte, PA is hiring a Warehouse Operator. The Warehouse Operator will perform a variety of functions to ensure efficient flow of work and accurate control of product inventory in the packaging and handling of raw materials in the Raw Materials Warehouse. Specific job duties include:
Packing and labeling bulk resins and vendor supplied items
Using calibrated balances weigh proper quantities of resin or other items into packaging containers according to SOP/MPS
Label and attach appropriate instructions/directions to containers/boxes
Receive and stock materials from production and receiving in the Raw Material warehouse
Inspect for proper materials and quantities received
Assure that materials are properly identified and placed in designated storage locations
Gather and distribute raw, intermediate, and other stock items according to shop packets and material pick list
Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials according to information on the request
Distribute materials to appropriate areas in a timely manner
Maintain high inventory accuracy levels
Assist with transaction entry and monitoring of edits
Perform cycle counts and edit reports
Address and find solutions for inventory inaccuracies
Any other duties assigned by management
Physical Attributes:
Become trained and licensed on motorized fork trucks and lifts
Lift up to 50 pounds
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience operating forklift
1+ years' production experience
Knowledge of basic inventory control practices and Supelco brand products
Experience with material handling equipment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Basic PC knowledge
Pay Range for this position: $19.00 - $29.00.
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
