Overview As an Application Engineer at Munters in Amesbury, you will design and support engineered HVAC and dehumidification solutions for commercial and industrial needs. You will work closely with sales, engineering, and production to translate customer requirements into equipment selections and project scopes. You’ll manage desiccant dehumidification projects from inception to shipment and optimize equipment performance and profitability. This role offers impact across design, cost estimation, and cross-functional collaboration in a growth-focused climate tech company. ResponsibilitiesProvide engineered solutions and technical/project management support for HVAC equipment selection and climate control systemsSupport commercial desiccant dehumidification projects from inception to shipmentDevelop solutions and product support for customers, regional sales managers, and repsInterpret customer design requirements from specs and drawings to define equipmentUse Genesys, MRC, WebDH, and Impact for equipment selectionReview operating parameters to optimize equipment value and performancePrepare cost estimates from blueprints and specs in collaboration with engineers and architectsCreate turnover documentation for engineering and productionEnsure design and fabrication meet project scope and customer requirementsAssess cost and profitability to drive equipment improvementsManage equipment selection software distribution, updates, and supportCommunicate with cross-functional teams and provide technical training to customersEngage multiple stakeholders across sales and manufacturing cyclesSupport KPIs with data and continuous knowledge in professional development Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering, or related fieldtwo (2) years of engineering experience in rotor-based dehumidification systems for low dew point applicationsCross-functional collaborationEffective communicationProject managementGenesysMRCWebDH
